Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team and lead our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will be a culinary expert with a deep understanding of grill and burger cuisine. They will play a pivotal role in maintaining our restaurant’s high standards for food quality, presentation, and taste. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals according to the restaurant’s menu and recipes
  • Oversee and manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
  • Collaborate with the restaurant staff to ensure timely and efficient service
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff members – Develop new menu items and specials based on seasonal ingredients
  • Liaise with Chief Chef on ordering products/replenishments
  • When required covering the duties of the Head Chef

Person specification:

  • A passion for all things burgers, fries, and milkshakes and a love of cooking & constructing mouth-watering dishes
  • an excellent team player with fantastic people skills
  • Must have strong working experience in kitchen
  • Should be highly motivated
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and take control when needed including experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of running a kitchen adhering to targets and leading a team
  • Pride in achieving the highest levels of cleanliness and health & safety ensuring the team is trained and confident
  • Finally, the ability to have fun at work and not take life too seriously – We’re too casual for that
